“This was among the most focused, disciplined and productive sessions in which I’ve participated. I believe our nonprofit is on its way to a successful start. The session was well-led and participant selection kept the energy high as we proceeded through the steps in steady forward push to build a solid set of objectives and strategies for the future.

     What set this session apart from others was the way the leader challenged participants to keep going. Midway through the session there was a tendency to gloss over steps in the process in an effort to get done early. This didn’t happen and the final result had the full attention of participants from beginning to end.

     Timing of the session also was most fortuitous. The new executive director had basically a clean slate available at the beginning of the session and participated directly in building a strategic plan with consensus of mature and caring people who understood the mission of the organization. In short, this was a highly effective session and I consider it a privilege to have participated.”
