After recently retiring as the Director of Consulting for the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, clients have continued to request the services of Jerry Wright. Jerry is providing consulting services on a limited basis to a select few clients.

    Jerry Wright was a licensed consultant with the Standards for Excellence Institute, the nation’s leading resource in nonprofit best practices. He is an advocate for the passionate and purposeful nonprofit organizations that seek to combine solid management and strategic initiatives with the mission and impact they build in their communities. 

     Jerry was one of the primary teachers and trainers for the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits and designed and delivered multiple critical curriculums for nonprofit education. Jerry has trained hundreds of 501c3 nonprofit boards of directors, which includes the "best practices" for successful board governance.

     His expertise in operational and business planning provide direct support for nonprofit communities. Jerry's many dynamic and participatory engagements, make him one of the most sought after consultants in the industry. Prior to retiring from the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, Jerry was the CEO of four different and diverse companies that managed hundreds of employees from diverse backgrounds. Much of his career was spent in turn-around consulting engagements to create necessary organizational change while improving efficiencies for maximum return on investment with limited resources. He has worked in industries of retail, travel and transportation, publishing, advertising, distribution, and nonprofits. He has successfully founded and led nonprofit public charities and served on boards of directors for nonprofit organizations as an adviser and contributor.

     At the onset of COVID, Jerry quickly converted his team of consultants to help nonprofits navigate the challenging SBA loan programs. His team's support helped save hundreds of nonprofits during the devastating financial effects of COVID.
